Service Description

As a fully qualified nurse practitioner, I and can take your blood sample in the comfort of your own home and drop them off at the lab. Perhaps you're struggling to get an appointment on the NHS, can't travel, don't have time or simply don't like medical environments... Just obtain your blood form from your GP and i'll take your bloods in the comfort of your own home and drop them off to the lab. Please note I do not offer diagnostics. You will have to have a consultation with your GP who will issue a blood test form which can be collected from your surgery. I will use the form when dropping your blood to the lab where it will be examined. The results will be provided to you you by your GP. The healthcare professional (likely your GP) who arranges your blood test will tell you whether there are any specific instructions you need to follow before your test. For example, depending on the type of blood test, you may be asked to: Avoid eating or drinking anything (fasting) apart from water, for up to 12 hours or stop taking certain medicines. It's important to follow the instructions you're given, as it may affect the result of the test and mean it needs to be delayed or carried out again.
